When it comes to love, many people focus on finding the right person. But what if the deeper transformation begins with understanding your own beliefs, emotional patterns, and assumptions about love?

In my recent video, “How to Manifest True Love Using the Law of Assumption (3 Simple Steps)”, I share a simple approach to help you understand your relationship patterns, reconnect with yourself, and become more aligned with the kind of love you truly desire.

Let’s explore it step by step.

The Dating App Trap & Relationship Frustrations

Dating apps have made it easier to meet new people, but finding a meaningful relationship can still feel challenging.

You may find yourself thinking:

  • Why do I keep attracting emotionally unavailable people?
  • Why do my relationships always follow the same pattern?
  • Why do people lose interest after things start getting serious?
  • Why am I always the one chasing?
  • Why do I keep attracting inconsistent partners?

If you’ve experienced these patterns repeatedly, it may be worth looking beyond the dating app, the person, or the circumstances. Sometimes, the more important question is:

What am I unconsciously expecting from love?

Our beliefs and emotional patterns can influence the way we choose partners, interpret situations, communicate, set boundaries, and respond to relationships.

That is why love manifestation is not simply about getting someone to enter your life. It starts with becoming aware of the version of yourself that you are bringing into relationships.

The Truth About Love Manifestation vs. “Voodoo Science”

Manifestation is often misunderstood.

Some people believe it means thinking about a person constantly until they magically appear. Others dismiss it completely as “voodoo science.”

A more practical way to approach manifestation is to use it as a tool for self-awareness, mindset transformation, emotional healing, and intentional action.

The goal is not to control another person’s free will.

The goal is to understand your own internal world and shift the beliefs and patterns that may no longer support the relationship you want.

When your internal perspective changes, your choices and behaviours can change too.

You may begin setting stronger boundaries, communicating differently, choosing differently, and becoming less willing to accept relationships that don’t align with your values.

That is where manifestation becomes much more powerful.

Understanding the Law of Assumption

The Law of Assumption, associated with the teachings of Neville Goddard, suggests that the assumptions you consistently hold about yourself and your life can influence how you experience your reality.

When it comes to relationships, there is a big difference between:

“Why doesn’t anyone choose me?”

and

“I am worthy of healthy, mutual and fulfilling love.”

The second statement represents a shift in identity.

Instead of constantly looking for external evidence that you are loved, you begin developing an internal sense of worth, security, and openness to love. This doesn’t mean ignoring reality or pretending that everything is perfect. It means consciously choosing the beliefs and behaviours that support the relationship experience you want. And this brings us to the three simple steps.

Step 1: Identify Your Unavailable Pattern

Before trying to manifest your ideal relationship, take a closer look at your existing relationship patterns.

Ask yourself:

“What type of person do I repeatedly become attracted to?”

Do you often find yourself drawn to people who are:

  • Emotionally unavailable?
  • Inconsistent?
  • Afraid of commitment?
  • Giving mixed signals?
  • Difficult to communicate with?
  • Making you chase their attention?
  • Making you question your worth?

If you notice a pattern, don’t judge yourself.

Become curious about it. Sometimes, what feels like strong chemistry can also be connected to familiar emotional patterns. If uncertainty, inconsistency, or chasing has become familiar, a healthy and stable relationship may initially feel different from what you’re used to.

This is why awareness is the first step.

Try This Journaling Exercise

Take a few minutes and complete these statements honestly:

“In relationships, I always seem to…”

“The people I usually attract are…”

“Deep down, I believe love is…”

“I am afraid that if I am fully myself, then…”

Your answers may help you identify assumptions that are influencing your relationship choices.

Remember: You cannot consciously change a pattern that you haven’t first identified.

Step 2: Self-Love & Ho’oponopono Healing

The second step is about coming back to yourself. Many people approach love manifestation from the belief:

“I need someone to make me feel loved.”

But a healthier starting point is:

“I am learning to create love, acceptance, and emotional safety within myself.”

Self-love doesn’t mean that you don’t need or want a partner. It means your partner is not responsible for determining your worth. This is where practices such as self-reflection, journaling, meditation, self-love practices, and Ho’oponopono can support your emotional healing journey.

A simple Ho’oponopono practice is:

I’m sorry.
Please forgive me.
Thank you.
I love you.

You can use these words as an opportunity to reflect on your relationship with yourself.

Perhaps you need to forgive yourself for:

  • Staying too long in situations that didn’t serve you
  • Ignoring your intuition
  • Accepting less than you wanted
  • Chasing someone’s attention
  • Believing you had to prove your worth to receive love

The purpose isn’t to blame your past self. It is to create compassion for yourself and release the emotional weight associated with old experiences.

Step 3: Live in the Energy of Fulfilled Love

This is where many people misunderstand manifestation. They may visualize their dream partner every day but continue living from the identity of someone who thinks:

“Nobody chooses me.”

The third step is to begin living from the energy and identity of fulfilled love.

Ask yourself: “If I already knew I was worthy of healthy love, how would I treat myself today?”

Would you:

  • Set healthier boundaries?
  • Stop chasing inconsistent people?
  • Communicate your needs clearly?
  • Take your feelings seriously?
  • Stop settling for breadcrumbs?
  • Become more open to receiving love?
  • Choose compatibility instead of only chemistry?
  • Feel secure even when you are single?

This is what embodiment is about. You don’t have to pretend that you’re already in a relationship. Instead, begin becoming the version of yourself who feels worthy, secure, emotionally available, and ready for healthy love.

Your actions should gradually begin matching your new assumptions.

The SP & Ex Trap: One of the Biggest Mistakes

One of the biggest mistakes people make with love manifestation is becoming completely focused on a Specific Person (SP) or an ex. The entire manifestation becomes:

“How do I make this person come back?”

This can keep you emotionally attached to the old story instead of creating a new one.

Instead of asking:

“How can I make them choose me?”

ask:

“What kind of love am I choosing for myself?”

If an ex returns, don’t only ask whether they came back.

Ask:

  • Has the relationship dynamic changed?
  • Is there mutual effort?
  • Is communication healthier?
  • Is there emotional availability?
  • Is there consistency?
  • Is there respect?

Because the goal isn’t simply to recreate an old relationship. The goal is to experience a healthier relationship dynamic. Sometimes that may mean rebuilding a relationship with someone from your past.

Sometimes it may mean meeting someone new. And sometimes the most important manifestation is finally choosing yourself.

Stop Manifesting From Lack

There is a difference between: “I need someone because I’m lonely.”

and

“I am open to sharing my life with someone who aligns with my values and desires.”

One is rooted in lack. The other comes from openness.

When you constantly check your phone, analyse every message, look for signs, stalk an ex’s social media, or worry whether your manifestation is “working,” you may be reinforcing the very feeling you are trying to move away from.

Instead, bring your attention back to yourself.

  • Build your confidence.
  • Enjoy your life.
  • Spend time with people who support you.
  • Pursue your goals.
  • Take care of yourself.

Create a life that feels meaningful even before the relationship arrives. You don’t have to put your life on hold while waiting for love.

A Simple Love Manifestation Practice

Tonight, take a few quiet minutes and write:

“My fulfilled relationship feels like…”

Don’t focus only on your future partner’s appearance.

Instead, describe the experience of the relationship.

Think about:

  • How you feel around each other
  • How you communicate
  • How disagreements are handled
  • How affection is expressed
  • How safe you feel being yourself
  • How you support each other’s growth
  • What mutual respect looks like
  • What commitment feels like

Then write:

“I am becoming the version of me who is available for this kind of love.”

Read it slowly. Connect with the feeling behind the words. Then release the need to control exactly who, when, or how it happens. Continue living your life while making choices aligned with the relationship you desire.

Final Thoughts

If you’re feeling stuck, frustrated, or disappointed in your love life, don’t assume that your current relationship patterns are permanent.

Sometimes, creating a healthier experience of love begins with an internal shift changing the beliefs, emotional patterns, and assumptions you hold about yourself and relationships.
